Ready for your cushions to look and feel brand new? Our 2.0 HR upholstery foam with 35 ILD is the perfect density for seat cushions that are comfortable and supportive. We recommend this foam for indoor upholstery seats (sofas, loveseats, chairs), patio cushions, cars, mattress tops, boat cushions, or any other home projects. Our high-grade polyurethane is very easy to cut and manipulate as needed, and it will last over 15 years!
If you're looking to replace your cushions, here is how to determine the correct foam size needed:
- Measure your cushion cover with the foam inside from seam to seam. Left to right, front to back, and top to bottom.
- Add 1 inch to each dimension. This will help to ensure you have a full look and feel to the cushion.
For cushions, we highly recommend wrapping the foam in Dacron, which is a 1/4" batting that provides extra protection from friction while inside the cover. If you would like to add this to your order, please select the correct option from the drop down menu.
Please note that the foam may vary in color, as seen in the images. This does not affect the quality of the foam. There is a variety in color due to manufacturing.
Our company uses this foam in our own custom furniture and upholstery projects for over ten years, and we hope to help you bring quality and success to your own projects and business. If you need a custom size foam, please Contact Us.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
- If your foam is going to receive heavy use (such as a family sofa), then we recommend investing in a more dense foam. Its value and durability are well worth the investment and expense of future repairs.
- For first-time buyers, foam varies in color and changes slightly over time. However, the foam is “color fast” and will not bleed into or through the colors of your fabric.
- Any foam orders thicker than 6" or longer than 94" may have a glue seam. We use water-based glue, so no toxins or smells to worry about and the seam is stronger than the foam.
- While we strive for exact cuts, foam compresses while cutting and will generally be within 1/8" but could be within 1/4" of the dimensions.
- We compress our foam orders to protect them while in transit, preventing moisture and debris from contaminating the package. This means that your order will be vacuum sealed upon arrival. Upon opening, allow the foam to expand for at least two days at average room temperature. Denser foam will expand quicker, returning to its original shape. Do not leave the foam in the packaging for too long and be sure to cut open the package carefully upon arrival.
- We guarantee 100% customer satisfaction and strive to be open and communicative with all of our buyers. If you have any questions or problems please contact us so we may resolve any issues and give you the best experience possible.
